Meet William Shannon...

William's journey with cancer began with a simple enlarged lymphnode on the back of his neck.  When it did not go away after almost 2 months, and a family vacation where William wanted to ride around in a stroller and not play, and just wanted to go home, the Shannon family knew something was not right...

Devon and Sandy Shannon sat in a doctors office and heard the words that they never dreamed that they would ever hear in their lifetime... "Your son has cancer..."

William was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and William's Journey with childhood cancer began.

Williams diagnosis and age at the time were pretty much the best case scenario... This type of cancer has a very high cure rate for children diagnosed at this age!

But this does not come EASY... The Shannon family has had wonderful support throughout Williams Journey through this horrible disease, and William has reacted very well to treatment so far...

But this still means mulitple trips to the hospital, low blood counts and prolonged hospital stays... the everyday EXPENSES... the everyday fear of just being thrown into this world of childhood cancer, seeing families all around you... struggling with everything that they have in them!!

It's in times like this where family and friends, and 'community' just surround a family like this in their loving arms and let them know that they are not alone!  We want to help!  We want to create an "Army of HOPE" for William's family to let them know that as they can finally see the 'light' at the end of a very dark tunnel, they will have a 'support system' of family, friends, and community... people who just CARE... people who will join together to let them know that they are not alone, and help them see this through to the end!

Our goal is to create an "ARMY" of hope... over 100 people strong!!

Will you join us?  Will you be listed in "William's Army of Hope"?  As a friend of this family to let them know that you are going to be there to help them see, "William's Amazing Journey" to an end?  William has fought this fight... he is beating cancer... and he is about to finish his race...

for just $10 per month for just ONE year... we can give The Shannon's a gift that they will remember for the rest of their lives... Join us, to show them just how many people are cheering William on as he crosses the finish line!
