Morgan had been complaining about her knee... and after multiple doctors, attempts at medicines and physical therapy, Morgan's mom, Katrina, was able to quickly get her in to see an Orthapedic Doctor who she worked for...
On October 18th, 2011, the Meadows family recieved the news that they NEVER thought they would EVER hear... your daughter has cancer... The next day in Morgantown, their worst fear was confirmed... Morgan was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma of the right kneee. |
After several days of waiting, and more scans... They received some hopeful news... that the cancer is localized to just in her knee... Bone Scans and scans of her lungs were CLEAR!!
Morgan immediately started Chemotherapy... She will undergo 10 weeks of chemotherapy, a surgery to remove the tumor, followed by an additional FORTY weeks of chemo!!
The Meadows Family is about to face the fight of their lives... If everything goes PERFECT... this will mean MULTIPLE trips, and hospital stays, out of town... hours of traveling both ways...
During this time... We want to STAND with the Meadows Family...
and let them know that they are NOT alone!!
