Timmy's Fund is an
organization dedicated to assisting families who are currently battling
childhood cancer. All gifts and donations will be used to relieve the
financial and emotional burdens of families who are undergoing
treatment at WVU's Children's Hospital.
 | "On Behalf of the children with cancer and their families who are treated at WVU Children's Hospital, I want to thank you for the work that you are doing to alleviate some of the burdens these families face during treatment. Frequently families find themselves traveling long distances on a weekly basis to and from our institution without the financial means to pay for gas for their vehicles. In addition, families might either have frequent or extended hospital stays with their ill child and need assistance with the cost of meals each day. By providing for a family's basic needs through Timmy's Fund, the family is better able to concentrate on caring for their ill child and the family as a whole. I look forward to Jointly working with Timmy's Fund in the future on behalf of the children and families we serve."
